Recent Security Class Actions

On October 11, 2022, Schmitt Industries was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between September 1, 2020 and September 20, 2022.

On October 11, 2022, Block, Inc., formerly known as Square Inc., was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between November 4, 2021 and April 4, 2022.

On October 7, 2022, Opendoor Technologies Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired: (a) Opendoor securities between December 21, 2020 and September 16, 2022, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”); and/or (b) Opendoor common stock pursuant and/or traceable to the Offering Documents issued in connection with the business combination between the Company and Opendoor Labs Inc. completed on or about December 18, 2020.

On October 4, 2022, PayPal Holdings was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey on behalf of investors who purchased the Company’s shares between February 3, 2021 and February 1, 2022.

On September 28, 2022, Centessa Pharmaceuticals plc was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between May 28, 2021 and June 1, 2022, inclusive (the “Class Period”) and/or purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) pursuant to the Company’s May 2021 initial public offering (the “IPO”). The case was subsequently transferred to the Southern District of New York.

On September 26, 2022, Olo Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased the Company’s shares between August 11, 2021 and August 11, 2022.

On September 23, 2022, Yatsen Holding Limited was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased the Company’s American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) between November 19, 2020 and March 10, 2022 and/or in or traceable to the Company’s November 2020 initial public offering.

On September 23, 2022, Barclays PLC was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Barclays American Depositary Receipts (“ADRs”) on a U.S. open market during the class period February 18, 2021 through March 25, 2022, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”)

On September 23, 2022, Discovery, Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who (1) exchanged Discovery, Inc. common stock for Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. ("WBD") common stock pursuant or traceable to Discovery’s February 4, 2022 Registration Statement on Form S-4 and Joint Proxy Statement/Prospectus filed with the SEC on February 10, 2022, or (2) purchased shares of WBD common stock on the open market traceable to the Prospectus through the date of the filing of the Complaint.

On September 20, 2022, Fulgent Genetics, Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between March 22, 2019 and August 4, 2022.

On September 15, 2022, Palantir Technologies Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between November 9, 2021 and May 6, 2022. A subsequent complaint updated the Class Period start date to February 16, 2021.

On September 13, 2022, Twitter was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between August 3, 2020 and August 23, 2022.

On September 8, 2022, Medtronic plc was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota on behalf of investors who purchased the Company’s shares between June 8, 2019 and May 25, 2022.

On September 7, 2022, Sema4 Holdings Corp. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between March 14, 2022 and August 15, 2022.

On September 2, 2022, Kohl's Corporation was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between October 20, 2020 and May 19, 2022.

On August 31, 2022, TuSimple Holdings, Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired: (a) the Company’s common stock pursuant to the April 2021 initial public offering (“IPO”) and/or (b) the Company’s securities between April 15, 2021 and August 1, 2022.

On August 31, 2022, Latch, Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between May 13, 2021 and August 25, 2022.

On August 31, 2022, Abbott Laboratories was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s shares between February 19, 2021 to June 8, 2022.

On August 30, 2022, Azure Power Global Limited was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired the Company’s securities between June 15, 2021 and August 26, 2022.

On August 26, 2022, Stitch Fix, Inc. was sued for violations of the federal securities laws in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of investors who purchased the Company’s shares between December 8, 2020, and March 8, 2022.
