The Complaint alleges that during the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements regarding the Company’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, the Complaint alleges Defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) contrary to prior representations, demand in STM’s automotive and industrial sectors continued to decline in the first half of 2024; (ii) as a result, the Company’s revenues and gross margins also continued to decline during this period; and (iii) as a result, the Company’s public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
